What is Janam Kundli?
A Janam Kundli is your Vedic birth chart — a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment you were born.
A Janam Kundli (birth chart or horoscope) is a map of where the planets, the Sun and the Moon were positioned at the precise date, time and place of your birth. In Vedic astrology it is the foundation for every other calculation.
What it contains
- Twelve houses (bhavas), each governing an area of life such as career, marriage or health.
- The twelve rashis (zodiac signs) and which sign falls in each house.
- The nine grahas (planets) and the houses/signs they occupy.
- The Lagna (ascendant) — the sign rising on the eastern horizon at your birth.
Why birth time matters
The Lagna changes roughly every two hours, so an accurate birth time is essential. Even a small error can shift the ascendant and change the whole chart interpretation.
Panda Ji generates your Kundli live using the Lahiri ayanamsa — nothing is stored, and the calculation runs the moment you request it.
